RIYADH - Mobily yesterday announced an attractive offer for all new subscribers to "Fallah" prepaid package. New subscribers will get 50 percent off on all video calls and SMS messages.
This offer coincides with the school and college holidays. What makes it even more special is that among all the prepaid packages Mobily offers, the "Fallah" package is aimed at youngsters, aged 15-24.
The offer makes it possible for new subscribers with the "Fallah" package to enjoy reduced rates on video calls, with tariffs as low as 50 halalas per minute between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. within the Mobily network. Video calling is only available among Mobily's subscribers at this time, and the company hopes to activate the service with Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) soon, especially since Mobily already has had the necessary technology for inter-provider connectivity for more than two years now.
Also, with the new offer an SMS message only costs 0.125 riyal. This offer is valid for two months after subscription.
The "Fallah" package constitutes the lowest rates of its kind for voice calls ever in the Kingdom. One minute of voice calls costs only 35 halalas between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. within the Mobily network, and 65 halalas per minute between Mobily numbers and numbers of the other networks.
The "Fallah" package allows many other services, including (Hawwel) the push to talk service, (Rannan) the ring back tone service, TV reception and roaming with more than 100 global service providers, as well as other value-added services. Mobily has allocated an Internet forum for youngsters, which can be visited at www.fallah.mobily.com.sa, and contains forums downloadables, such as ring tones, wallpapers, themes and other things.
