JEDDAH, 5 March 2008 — India is offering 100 scholarships to assist persons of Indian origin (PIOs) and nonresident Indians (NRIs) in pursuing undergraduate courses in various disciplines in 2008. The scholarship program, introduced by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, covers engineering/architecture/technology, humanities/liberal arts, commerce, management — BBA/BBM, journalism, hotel management, agriculture/animal husbandry, sciences, law, etc., a press statement by the Consulate General of India said. Consular Visit

JEDDAH, 5 March 2008 — A consular team of the Consulate General of India will visit Madinah on March 6. The team maybe contacted at the Indian Haj Office, Madinah (04-8380025).
