JIZAN, 20 March 2008 — One woman was killed and 11 college students were injured yesterday when their bus collided with another vehicle in Sabia, a town near the southern city of Jizan. Red Crescent ambulances took the injured to Sabia General Hospital. Ahmad Al-Wadani, spokesman for Jizan police, said the accident took place early in the morning while the women students were heading to the Teacher’s College. No injuries were reported from the other vehicle. The woman who died was the bus driver’s wife. — Ali Hawash
