MADINAH, 6 April 2008 — A schoolteacher in Hanakiya has been arrested by police after drowning his 20-year-old wife and eight-month-old baby boy in a bathtub yesterday. The man surrendered himself to police saying he was suffering from mental problems.
Adel Sharaf, spokesman at the Health Affairs Department in Madinah, told Arab News that the bodies of the woman and baby are being kept at a mortuary at Meeqat General Hospital.
