MADINAH: A real estate committee to deal exclusively with the interests of women investors has recently been launched by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The committee will serve women investors in areas of property appraisal and management besides increasing the awareness amidst women about the opportunities in the real estate business. It will also strive to attract women graduates to work as real estate professionals, according to the chairperson of the committee.

“As a preliminary move we intend to prepare a comprehensive data base on the investment establishments and companies in the Madinah region, the rest of the Kingdom and Gulf and Arab countries. We will also prepare a database for price levels and a detailed property map in different locations in Madinah,” Jamal Al-Saadi, chairperson of the new committee, told Arab News on Sunday. Al-Saadi added that the database for real estate information about the Gulf and other Arab countries could be made by contacting the councils of chambers in these countries and by organizing Arab and Gulf level conferences.
