JEDDAH: Real estate developers in Kerala are logging in to create hi-tech environment in designing flats and residential villas in the state.
This was evident from the new projects announced by Kochi-based Asset Homes, which has adopted digital homes as its motto in the new apartments and villas to be constructed in different parts of the state. K.A. Mohammad Saleem, director, Asset Homes, said that the digital homes have most sophisticated features that included biometric doors which operate by sensing finger prints, wi-fi network, automated gate operating systems, digital lockers, VOIP phones, camera-controlled digital alarm security and video door phones.
The flats and villas, which will be constructed in and around Kochi initially, will be built according to international standards. The total construction cost for these projects is estimated at Rs.12.5 million, he said, and added that the project would also include 42 CRG (close relation groups) homes.
The homes are in the range of Rs.1.5 million to Rs.8.5 million. Kerala’s truly digital homes are the specialty of the project, Saleem said.
Asset Homes are eco-friendly with eco-features, including modern waste management systems, rainwater storage, water recycling systems, herbal garden, green space, three-lane jogging track, etc. The homes are constructed with community friendly amenities, including swimming pools, senior citizens lobby, roof garden library, fountains, automatic repellent system, amphitheatre, toddlers park, etc.
