Over the next few weeks the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) will be making a cutting-edge computer, capable of performing millions of billions of operations per second, available to French and European researchers.
The powerful computer will make it possible to carry out incredibly complex research, in particular in the area of the environment, as well as in chemistry, biology and astrophysics, which are the major users of supercomputing.
