GAZA: A 17-year-old Palestinian girl was injured yesterday morning when the Israeli troops stationed on the border in east of Khan Younis city opened fire on her school and the surrounding farms in the area, witnesses and medical sources said.

Aziza Qudeih, a student, was injured after the Israeli troops randomly opened fire on farmers who were trying to approach their farms near Khuza’a secondary school at eastern Khan Younis city in the Gaza Strip.

Witnesses and medical sources said that the girl was wounded while she was in her school along with other students. The girl was taken to a local hospital.

Palestinian factions see such assaults as violation of the truce between Israel and the resistance groups in the Gaza Strip. Earlier this week, Israel warships opened its heavy gunfire on the fishermen boats in Rafah city.
