RAMALLAH, West Bank: Jewish occupiers damaged Palestinian fields and houses yesterday after Thursday night clashes between them and Israeli security forces who tore down an illegal settlement building near the West Bank city of Hebron.

Palestinian sources in Hebron said occupiers attacked Palestinians throughout the day near the Federman Farm outpost of Kiryat Arba settlement, which was evacuated and rebuilt last week.

They also said that a local photojournalist, Hazem Bader, was hit by a stone thrown at him, and was taken to a hospital in Hebron.

On Thursday evening, Palestinians living near the Federman Farm reported that dozens of occupiers had started harassing them ahead of the demolition of Federman’s house on Thursday night.

Khalifah Da’na, the owner of one of the two only Palestinian homes located near the farm, said: “I’m really beginning to fear for my life. In the past few days they have not stopped throwing stones.”
