TABUK: The Children’s Day at International Indian School Tabuk (IIST), which was held recently, saw the inauguration of IIST website and the launch of its magazine “Synergy.” Cyril Tigga, Indian consul and observer of schools, opened the event while Ahmad Saad bin Ibrahim, supervisor of international schools in Tabuk, released the magazine.
Tigga emphasized the role of parents in the smooth running of school while Dr. Shahanas Salahudeen, chairman of the managing committee, spoke about the fast development of the school, which was established in 1986. Salahudeen, who demonstrated the website and its applications, said the website would facilitate communication between parents and teachers and give them access to test questions, past question papers, syllabus, examination schedule and school calendar.
Siraj Ali Malabari, an official of Meshilogic, which developed the website, was present at the ceremony, which included a variety of cultural programs presented schoolchildren. Principal Shaukat Perwez welcomed the guests while Vice Principal Shamsudeen gave a vote of thanks.
