RIYADH: Crown Prince Sultan yesterday received a honorary doctorate degree from Riyadh's King Saud University (KSU) during a ceremony attended by a number of princes and high-ranking officials.

In a short speech on the occasion, Prince Sultan highlighted the efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to promote higher education in the Kingdom.

He urged the university staff to exert greater efforts to improve the educational standard of its students.

Higher Education Minister Khaled Al-Anqari said the degree was awarded to the crown prince considering his continuous support to KSU and his efforts to boost higher education in the country.
