JEDDAH: A construction worker has been reportedly killed by a colleague in a north Jeddah district following a dispute between the two men.
A group of workers found the Pakistani bricklayer’s body in a building under construction, said Col. Misfar Al-Juaid, the official spokesman for Jeddah police.
“We arrested a Bangladeshi man who worked with the victim. The site supervisor told the police that the two men had quarreled,” Al-Juaid said.
According to an autopsy report, the man died of head injuries caused by a heavy instrument. Police found a large hammer with bloodstains at a nearby location. Investigations are continuing.
Meanwhile, an Indian driver was stabbed to death by his Pakistani friend last week in Jeddah. The killer then surrendered to police, said Al-Juaid.
