RIYADH: The governmental Human Rights Commission is preparing to launch a campaign on the International Day for Human Rights, which takes place on Dec. 10, aiming to bring to light human rights issues and the international agreements that the Kingdom has signed.
The HRC will use this campaign to present its achievements during the last three years by distributing fliers to encourage acknowledgement and respect for human rights, especially the rights of women and children, said Mohammad Al-Muaadi, coordinator for the upcoming event.
He said the international day will be observed all over the Kingdom through distribution of fliers and other materials in cooperation with the mass media.
