RIYADH: Some two million used Mobily’s network on the first day of Tashriq. These numbers are a staggering increase compared to those in the previous three Haj seasons in which Mobily had taken part, the company said in a press release yesterday.
Abdulaziz Altamami, Mobily’s COO, and Ashraf Ismail, the company’s director of operations and technical support, inspected Mobily’s main Network Operations Center (NOC) in Riyadh, which is run by some of the “best engineers and technicians” in the company, and checked out the movement of pilgrims through the holy sites and the latest developments.
Altamami praised the great efforts being made by the company’s various technical departments to provide the best possible telecommunication services.
