RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah thanked all those who contributed to the success of the Haj.
In a cable sent yesterday to Interior Minister Prince Naif, who is the chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, the king said, “We thank you and all those who participated in this noble task. We express our immense satisfaction and pride at the coordinated efforts of all the departments (security, services, organizational and preventive) that enabled the pilgrims to perform Haj with utmost peace and safety.”
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the king’s message was in response to Prince Naif's cable congratulating the king on the successful completion of Haj.
