MAKKAH: The General Directorate of Passports has urged expatriate workers to give their fingerprints at the earliest opportunity in order to avoid undue delays in processing requests for iqama renewals and sponsorship transfers.
The directorate is providing fingerprinting services at various locations in the major cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Dammam, in addition to mobile fingerprinting units visiting companies with huge numbers of foreign workers.
In Riyadh, the service is available at the Passport Department’s offices in the Industrial City II on Al-Kharj road, near the parking lot on King Fahd Road and close to the Saudi Oger headquarters in north Riyadh.
There are three fingerprinting centers in Jeddah at locations close to Al-Sawari Mall, the Dallah Tower and Binladin Co. in south Jeddah. A new office for fingerprinting will open shortly in Makkah in addition to the present mobile office.
In Dammam, the service is available at the Passport Department’s office in the Al-Majdoei building and near the Giant Store on the Dammam-Alkhobar Expressway.
