JEDDAH: The bodies of two border guards who went missing two weeks ago in fast moving floodwaters have been found in the Red Sea.
“We found their bodies in the Red Sea close to the northwestern town of Wajh, which is situated around 60 km from Tabuk. There was an intensive eight day search for the officers who were identified from their uniforms,” said Lt. Abdullah Al-Ghurier, spokesman for the Saudi Border Guards in Tabuk.
The two guards went missing following heavy rains in Tabuk province last Monday, causing flooding in the area.
