JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday ordered a major fundraising campaign for the Palestinians facing Israeli aggression in Gaza. Interior Minister Prince Naif will supervise the campaign, the Saudi Press Agency said.
King Abdullah had earlier ordered a shipment of medical supplies to Gaza through Egypt as well as air ambulance vehicles to transport the injured Palestinians to specialized Saudi hospitals for treatment.
The Palestinian Red Crescent yesterday received the second installment of Saudi medical supplies ordered by the king.
