MADINAH: Four women teachers and two drivers were critically injured yesterday in a road accident in Hinakiyah, a town 130 kilometers east of Madinah.
The car carrying the teachers collided with a minivan driven by a Saudi who tried to stop the women’s car for unknown reasons. The seriously injured teachers were transferred from the health center in Hinakiyah to King Fahd Hospital in Madinah for specialist treatment.
Abdul Razak Hafiz, spokesman for the Health Department in Madinah, said police were investigating why the Saudi tried to stop the women’s car.
