JEDDAH: Jeddah United senior boys basketball team traveled to Jordan for a five-day sports exchange program sponsored by Aramex. The trip was a combination of basketball training and scrimmages as well as tourism to several historical sites in Jordan.
Jeddah United was headed by Obaid Madani, managing director, coach Ahmad Bakr, players Mohannad Shobain, Mohammad Shobain, Hani Saeed, Ahmad Zaher, Abdulaziz Nadeef, Rakan Barnawi, Abdulaziz Al- Jadaani
The team was welcomed at the airport by Fadi Hattar, Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer.
The JU team played against the Applied Science University team, and Alriyadi Club. In addition, JU attended a training session held by Nedad Hrvoic, who is the head coach of the junior national team in Jordan and also a member of the Jordanian Basketball Association.
The team was also honored by Ayman Samawi of the Jordanian Basketball Federation at Prince Hamza Stadium in a ceremony that encouraged regional sports exchange programs.
Madani thanked Fadi Sabbah, Aramex secretary-general and Alriyadi Club for an amazing sports exchange program which laid a foundation to future cooperation between the two clubs.
