DAMMAM: Three Filipino workers died in a freak road accident in Jubail on Sunday night.
The three Filipinos, together with two other colleagues, were returning to their camp in a taxi after shopping in Jubail City when the accident happened at around 8 p.m. Witnesses said the taxi was running too fast when it rammed into a crossing trailer coming out from a dirt road.
The Saudi taxi driver and the two other passengers, a Filipino and an Indian, escaped with severe injuries. No information was available on the trailer driver.
