RIYADH: Keeping with tradition, the Dirab Golf Club and Resort is organizing the SANAD Half-Marathon for the successive year.
The theme of the marathon is to raise funds to support children suffering from cancer, said Bouchaib El Jadiani, Golf Club manager.
Entry fee is SR100 that will be donated to Saudi-based Children’s Cancer Support Charity (SANAD).
The half-marathon will be held on Friday at Dirab course. The distance of the marathon will be 21 km long. Each loop of the half-marathon course takes the runner over a challenging and attractive 7 km loop.
Runners are welcome to run a shorter distance, depending on the condition.
Runners, who successfully complete the race, will receive a finishers T-shirt and brunch as a courtesy of the Radisson SAS Hotel, the main sponsor of the event. Refreshments will be provided during the race.
Runners of all ages are welcome to join this worthwhile fundraising charity event.
