JEDDAH: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Saudi Arabia has announced its new reduced fee structure for Bachelors and BPP programs.
For Bachelors (BA, BCom and BTS), the fee has been reduced from SR2,820 to SR1,880. For BPP program, the fee has been cut down to SR752 from SR1,504, according to IGNOU Saudi Arabia. The students and aspirants can collect the application forms and prospectus for the July 2009 session for various degrees and programs from IGNOU offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. In addition to its existing programs (MBA, MCom, MA, BEd, BCom, BA, BTS and other diploma and certificate programs), it has planned to launch new programs like BTech in construction management (BTCM), diploma in retailing and PhD programs.
The BTech Civil (construction management) and advanced diploma in construction management are designed to provide training and professional knowledge appropriate for upgrading the diploma level manpower engaged in managing construction tasks. The diploma program in retailing has been developed under modular approach leading to BBA in retailing. The doctoral (PhD) studies aim at training professionals and teachers that lead to a systematic investigation of various issues and problems in the area of their study.
