MADINAH: After a month-long investigation that included DNA tests, Madinah police identified the body found close to their headquarters in October as that of Egyptian pilgrim Mustafa Muhammad Taha, 58.

According to Madinah police spokesman Muhsin Al-Radadi, Taha's wife had reported her husband missing in September while the couple was performing Umrah in Ramadan. The woman had reported that her husband had problems with his memory, which may have caused him to become disoriented and lost.

It is unclear how the body came to be discovered close to police headquarters.
