MADINAH: Two young Saudis were arrested for impersonating policemen in the Masanie district of Madinah yesterday, according to police spokesman Col. Muhsin Al-Radadi.
Some foreign workers complained to police last week that two Saudis entered their camps and forcibly took away SR7,000, mobile phones and driving licenses after beating them up. A laborer was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital.
Police arrested one of the suspects after identifying him with the help of fingerprint records. The suspect allegedly confessed to the crime and helped the police arrest his accomplice. The laborers also identified them, the official said.
