JEDDAH: The stage is set for the Asian Handball Club Championship quarterfinals at the General Presidency of Youth Welfare sport hall here.
The eight teams to survive the eliminations will be further divided into two groups.
Al-Qadisia of Kuwait topped Group A while Al-Sadd of Qatar finished second. In Group B Ahli of Qatar were the winners and Foolaz Moobarkaa of Iran came second.
In Group C, Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia qualified first with Al-Sadd of Lebanon second. In Group D, Al-Noor of Saudi finished first followed by Al-Fehaheel of Kuwait. The first group includes Al-Sadd, Al-Noor, Ahli of Qatar and Al-Sadd. The second group comprises host club Ahli, Foolaz Moobarkaa, Al-Fehaheel and Al-Qadsiia.
