JEDDAH: A Saudi businessman is suing the Saudi Post in Jeddah for causing him to lose SR2 million by failing to deliver a parcel he had sent from Riyadh containing the papers of an agreement with another party. The businessman said the other party canceled the deal of SR2 million when he did not receive the papers on time. Postal officials admitted their responsibility and offered SR170 in compensation. The man scoffed and is considering his legal options.
Man has a feel of it in exam hall with son
JEDDAH: Bathawi Hindi Al-Nuaman, a Saudi in his 40s, sat an exam recently with his son at a public high school in the northern city of Arar. According to Al-Madinah newspaper yesterday, the man decided to follow his son in classes because he had never graduated from high school. The son told the newspaper he hoped his father would move to higher education. Better late than never!
