MADINAH: Four Saudis in one vehicle were killed in a road accident close to the town of Himnah on the Makkah-Madinah expressway on Tuesday, said Col. Mansour Al-Jihani, Civil Defense spokesman in Madinah.
A nearby Civil Defense removed mangled bodies from the wrecked car with the help of metal cutters, the police officer said.
The accident occurred when the speeding car rammed into the rear of a heavy road-repairing truck. The Bangladeshi driver of the truck was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. Police are investigating.
