RIYADH: The King Fahd Medical City booth at the international book fair under way in Riyadh is offering visitors free medical services, such as diabetes and blood pressure checks, and an opportunity to donate blood via its mobile blood donation unit.
More than 200 visitors were tested in the first few days of the book fair.
Educational material, including brochures and flyers on health, diet and heart diseases, have been distributed at the booth.
Health workers were at hand to attend to any medical emergencies, including that of a visitor who collapsed at the event due to a low-sugar level.
