TAIF: A student at a high school in Taif assaulted a high school principal in front of teachers and students on yesterday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, the school principal punished the student for coming late by making him stand in front of other students during morning assembly in the schoolyard. According to teachers, the student is a persistent latecomer, and verbally abused teachers. Without warning, the student attacked the school principal and was joined by his elder brother who was waiting outside the school.
The principal was saved by other teachers. The matter has been reported to police.
