JEDDAH: Al Resalah satellite channel has introduced new and exclusive programs for the month of March, as part of its third anniversary. Amr Khaled, “Al Mujadidoun,” “Alamatni Al Hayat” by Dr. Tareq Alsuwaidan, general manager of the channel, a social program “Bidoun Ihraj” and a management development program, “Leadership Academy,” “Tawkiat,” “Fiqh Al Hayat” and “Risalaty” for girls are among the new programs. Also, “Yastaftounak, “a daily program on the Kingdom’s leading scientists, is being aired. Reviewing the channel’s performance, Dr. Alsuwaidan told a press conference here this week about the mass viewership of some of the existing programs and discussed the social campaigns and issues of the Islamic and Arab nation.
“These are expected to represent a qualitative leap in the Islamic media,” he said. “Since its inception in March 2006, the channel has been offering Islamic programs with authentic content and artistic creativity, which stimulate the development of the channel’s religious discourse, the form of screen media and visual identity,” he added.
