JEDDAH: Pakistan’s Consul General Zaigham Uddin Azam during his visit to Jazan over the weekend urged members of the Pakistani community to take part in sports and also involve their Saudi brethren in such activities. He was speaking during a cricket match organized by the Pak-Jazan Cricket League in connection with the Pakistan Independence Day falling on March 23. He informed the community of the services the consulate is offering in Jazan and 10 other stations in the Western Region. He asked them to visit the consulate website: www. pakconsulatejeddah.com. Later, Azam visited the prison and met Pakistani prisoners. He advised the prisoners not to violate the law of the land and assured them that he would take up their cases with the local authorities. Azam also met Jazan University Dean Mohammad Al-Hayaza. The dean expressed his interest in hiring more Pakistanis for the university.
