JEDDAH: An administrative court in Jeddah yesterday postponed for a week its ruling on a lawsuit filed by the inheritors of a Saudi businessman against the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) demanding compensation for land acquired for building King Abdulaziz International Airport 33 years ago.
The court postponed the ruling because the representative of GACA failed to attend the hearing.
Twenty other citizens whose land were expropriated for the construction of the airport are still awaiting approval from the Court of Cassation the Court of Grievances ruled in their favor about two years ago.
