JEDDAH: A high-level team of Indian Consulate officers including Consul General Sayeed Ahmed Baba, and consuls for consular services and community welfare will visit Jazan on March 26-27. They will inspect and supervise the functioning of the offices of outsourcing agencies there. The Consulate General of India has outsourced its passport services to three firms — Al Fifa for General Services (www.alfifa.com), Al-Tayyar Travel Group (www.altayyargroup.com) and VFS GCC LLC (www.vfsglobal-n-sa.com). At the same time, consular services, limited to attestation of documents and miscellaneous services concerning passports will also be provided by the team on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hotel Atheel, Jazan (07-3171101 & 07-3170933). The visiting team will also have interaction with the local Indian community in the evening at Hotel Atheel on March 26. Those expatriates, who wish to meet the consul general for redressal of their grievances, including consular related services, should go with written statements narrating their problems.
