MAKKAH: Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice yesterday arrested three housemaids of varying nationalities on suspicion of running a prostitution ring. Two of them are suspected of being HIV carriers while the third one was a pimp.
The women told the commission members that their motive in practicing prostitution, apart from making money, was to spread the deadly ailment among local young men. The commission members also seized photographs of their regular visitors, sexual stimulants and condoms.
Abdul Rahman Al-Doaelej, chairman of the commission’s Makkah branch, warned youth against being lured into illegal relationships, which can lead to fatal diseases.
