DUBAI: Dubai’s first budget airline “flydubai” will begin services on June 1 with a daily service to Beirut and from June 2 to Amman.

“The seat price, including all taxes will be from AED250 one way on both routes from Dubai,” said flydubai CEO Ghaith Al-Ghaith at a press conference that held at the Monarch Hotel yesterday.

The fare is inclusive of seat price, all taxes and a generous hand baggage allowance of 10 kgs, unmatched in the region. Passengers have to pay only for the optional extras they choose, such as checked bags of up to 32kgs each, seat selection and any required food and beverages.

Flydubai will operate Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft on both routes, each with 189 economy class seats.
