TAIF: An Asian worker died on Friday evening in an accident on the main Ashirah Road in Taif.
The man, in his 30s, was hit while he walked on the side of the road. He had just left his accommodation and was walking to a nearby café. According to a witness, three vehicles were racing when one of the drivers lost control and hit the man.
The driver in his 20s sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital. Police arrested him later and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
