JEDDAH: The draw for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup of Champions football tournament took place yesterday in Riyadh. The president of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, Prince Sultan bin Fahd, and his deputy Prince Nawaf bin Faisal attended the ceremony.
Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr were drawn to meet in home and away matches beginning this Friday in Riyadh, with Wehda and Al-Shabab to open their own series in Makkah.
Next Saturday, Al-Hazem will host Al-Ahli in the first leg match and Al-Ittihad will host Al-Ittifaq at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.
Shabab is the defending champion of this elite eight competition after defeating Ittihad, 3-1, in the final match in Riyadh last year.
