MAKKAH: A man in his 60’s murdered his 25-year-old son at the family home in Al-Mansour Street area of Makkah early yesterday.
Maj. Abdul Muhsin Al-Mayman, official spokesman for Makkah police, said the man stabbed his son with a large knife in the chest killing him instantly.
According to the father, the youth had threatened to burn his house on several occasions.
The father was arrested and taken to Al-Mansour police station for questioning. According to neighbors, the youth had a reputation for being a troublemaker.
