AL-JOUF: A fire at a village school 160 km southeast of Sakaka yesterday completely destroyed students’ files.
The blaze began around dawn near the principal’s office. It was contained before spreading to the rest of the school.
Commenting on the loss of files, the school’s principal said the information was stored in the school’s electronic data bank.
The Civil Defense said the fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit.
