RIYADH: Police arrested two men and a woman who were involved in the rape of a man who was then blackmailed into paying cash to the trio, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. The man developed a relationship with the woman over the phone, which led to the pair going on a date to a restaurant. The man was, however, met by two huge men instead of the woman and taken to an apartment where he was filmed being raped by the men. The man reported the incident to the police.
‘Principal’ culprit
BAHA: A judge in Baha sentenced a high school principal to 30 days in jail for beating up a teacher in front of students, a local daily reported. The teacher claimed that the principal attacked him in front of students following an argument. Other teachers separated the two and settled the matter but the teacher filed a police complaint. The principal was also asked to sign a letter promising he would not repeat the same.
Blackmailer held
DAMMAM: Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in the Eastern Province arrested a 23-year-old man for trying to blackmail a 20-year-old woman by threatening to publish her pictures, Al-Yaum newspaper reported. The man asked the woman to pay him SR200,000 for the pictures. He had previously taken SR60,000 from her. The woman then contacted the commission, which arrested the man.
