YANBU: A prisoner who was receiving treatment at Yanbu General Hospital caused chaos inside the hospital by attacking staff. The prisoner, who was chained to his chair and accompanied by two policemen, was released from his handcuffs in order for staff to give him medication. He, however, took a stick and began breaking windows and attacking hospital workers.
Officers overpowered the man and chained him to the chair. He was then taken to the Psychiatric Hospital in Madinah for a mental checkup. A hospital spokesman said some staff members suffered minor injuries in the attack.
