MADINAH: The decomposing body of a young girl was discovered on a dirt road in the Al-Ougoul area, east of Madinah.
Col. Abdul Muhsin Al-Radadi, official spokesman for Madinah police, said police cordoned off the area after receiving news of the body. “A forensic team arrived to gather evidence and examine the body, which was found in a dirt road that leads to a farm. Early examinations showed the girl was aged between 9 and 12 years,” said Al-Radadi.
He added that the body was decomposing. It was taken to King Fahd Hospital for further examination, and to ascertain her identity and cause of death.
