JEDDAH: Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Al-Mansour area of Makkah arrested a bank manager who was coercing a young woman into going out with him by promising her a job.

The manager had taken the young woman’s mobile telephone number saying he would contact her with regard to employment. The man then began sending text messages asking for a date in exchange for a job.

The woman contacted the commission and showed them the text messages. Commission members asked the girl to set a date with the branch manager at a location near a shopping center. When the man showed up, commission members arrested him.

Members also found Viagra pills and other sexual inducements in his possession. The man was taken to Al-Mansour police station for questioning.
