JEDDAH: Plans are under way to establish a science and health university in Jeddah. A committee that was set up to conduct a feasibility study briefed Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal on the SR1.8 billion project yesterday.
The study was carried out with the support of American University of Beirut. The project includes a university hospital with 300 beds and an advanced research center. The university will have an intake of 2,000 students.
