JEDDAH: The General Prosecution and Investigation Board has completed its investigations into two men who are accused of breaking into a house and raping a disabled woman in front of her children, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported yesterday.
The two men have confessed to raping the woman. Their confessions have also been authenticated and papers on the case will be sent to court for a final ruling.
The brother of the victim said his sister, who is unable to speak or hear, was left in a terrible psychological condition after the incident. "The rapists did not have any mercy when they broke into her house. They took advantage of her situation and raped her in front of her children," he said.
He said the two men broke into the home, dragged his sister into a room, tied her up and then raped her.
Police arrested a number of suspects after the woman's family reported the incident. The woman was able to identify the rapists during a police lineup. The woman has demanded her attackers be executed.
