JEDDAH: Leena Abdul Jabbar and Zuhair Mazhar of International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) have been declared the most talented girl and boy, respectively, in the general talent competition (GTC) organized by the Muslim Educational Society (MES).
In the girls’ section, Hiba Gulam Nabi, Mariya Syed Shah, Sumayyah Nizam (Class VII-VIII category); Reja Parveen, Dilruba Shereef and Pottambathini Swathi (Class IX-X); Leena Abdul Jabbar, Fathima Zeina and Abeer Pervez (Class XI-XII) were the toppers.
The most talented boys in the three categories were Abin Raji Varghese, Murataza Shujaat Hashmi and Rahad Nazer (Class VII-VIII), Sayantan Das, Azhar Ahmed Sayeed and Vazim Latheef (IX-X) and Zuhair Mazhar, Arish Jamal and James George (XI-XII).
Indian Consul General Sayeed Ahmed Baba distributed prizes to the winners. Deepak Anand, regional manager of Air India, professor Ismail and Sabitha Rahim of King Abdulaziz University, Mohamed Laiq Mohsin, director, Academy of Management Studies, Dr. Saniha Mehjabeen Tahir of Khalid Idriss Hospital, and Syed Taj, country manager of Alzoman Travel, were the judges.
Cyril Tigga, consul for commerce, R.S. Kharayat, consul for consular services, Shakeel Ahmed, consul for education, Salah Karadan, chairman of IISJ Management Committee, and Syed Masood Ahmed, acting principal of IISJ, were present.
