YANBU: A nine-year-old girl from Al-Ais living in Yanbu suffered minor injuries after a car in Al-Hadaieq neighborhood hit her. The driver immediately took the child to Yanbu General hospital where she received treatment. Doctors said her injuries were not life threatening and that she was in stable condition.
Saudi stabbed during dispute
YANBU: A Saudi man was seriously injured after he was stabbed in the chest during a fight in Al-Sumairi neighborhood of Yanbu. Police arrested the assailant and took the injured man to the Yanbu General Hospital where his condition was reported critical. The suspect is being questioned.
Two drown in Madinah well
MADINAH: Two men died in Al-Henakiya after they fell in a 15-meter-deep well on Tuesday. The two men were livestock owners and they were trying to water their animals when they fell inside. Civil Defense units recovered the bodies from the well.
Abandoned house collapses
MADINAH: The Civil Defense in Madinah received an emergency call after a house collapsed in Al-Harra Al-Sharqeya early yesterday. Rescue teams rushed to the location with heavy equipment to save people possibly buried in the rubble. However, no one was inside the house when it collapsed. Investigations revealed that the house was abandoned a long time ago and no one lived there.
