DAMMAM: Chairman of the Royal Commission (RC) for Jubail and Yanbu Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan signed six contracts recently worth SR883 million for infrastructure development in the industrial and residential areas of the Jubail Industrial City.
The projects include designing and construction of the third stage of Jubail 2 power station at a total cost of SR255.3 million signed with the National Contracting Co.; laying of pipelines for a seawater cooling network at the cost of SR347 million with Saudi Binladin Group; construction of six four-story buildings containing 96 residential apartments at Jalmoudah Street for SR83 million with Al-Khanaini International Co.; expansion of several existing roads and construction of new ones, including street lights and traffic signals in the city, for SR95 million with Abdullah Ahmad Al-Dosary Co.; and an SR82 million contract for transporting school boys and girls in the city for five years with Khanaini International Co.
The contracts also included the developing and tree planting of Lulu Road and Fahd Road in Fanatir district with Al-Arabia Company for Trade and Construction at a cost of SR21 million.
