JEDDAH: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Jeddah Chapter, honored International Indian School-Jeddah’s (IISJ) commerce faculty toppers at its annual event held recently. Institute President Syed Raees Ahmed said the chapter always felicitated outstanding students of XI grade of the school’s commerce faculty in order to encourage students of commerce stream to take up the profession of Chartered Accountancy.

In the girls’ section, Sumaiyah Zubair Surati (93.6%) was awarded for Best Performance in Commerce Faculty and Subia Rashiduz Zaman was awarded for securing highest marks in Accountancy (98%).

In the boys’ section, Sameer Ahmed Siddiqui received both awards for Best Performance in Commerce Faculty (89%) and securing highest marks in Accountancy (95%).

They were presented a plaque along with a pen and wristwatch by the chapter. A raffle draw with over 100 prizes was held comprising products ranging from air tickets, LCD, laptops, gift vouchers, cell phones, wristwatches, perfume sets, gold biscuits and electronic items.
